Hi everyone,
I tried a new technique with this card; I was inspired by this post by Britta Swiderski and by Jill Foster in general.
My aunt picked this stamp as well; she loved the foliage and she loves green, and orange, so...
Here's the first one:
And a close-up of the sentiment tag:
And now for the orange one:
And the sentiment tag:
This one was fun to make. I cut out two of the same label shape of the same size using my Silhouette machine, out of white cardstock. I then scored 1" below the top of one of the shapes, and then glued that portion to the other piece of cardstock, to form a card blank.
Then I cut a smaller version of the label shape from white cardstock, which I inked with 3 shades of distress ink (scattered straw, wild honey, and spiced marmalade). I then stamped over the top of this in black Memento ink and a stamp from the 'Delicate Leaf Clusters' set by Hero Arts.
Finally, flick a bit of water over the card to create the spattered effect, add some twine and a tag, adhere to the card blank, et voila!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Tasha :)
