First card for August...

Hi again,

Okay so this is my second post for today, but this one includes a card (as promised) - THREE, in fact, to make up for lost time :)

So one day, I asked myself, what kind of cards do I need, that I wouldn't be able to easily go out and buy in a shop? And it occured to me: baptism cards.
It's always good (for me, being a Christian) to have some baptism cards on hand, because you never know when you'll need them. Also, it's good if you can have some neutral ones!

And with that in mind, I came up with these:

And a side-view:

And the boy-version:

And a side-view:

And the last (even more girly) one:

And a side-view:

I thought I'd add the side-views because those butterflies pop out so much better from that angle!

These were a doddle to make - just say what you see: a white card blank, patterned paper, white card, a cute punch and some distress ink. The personalised part of the sentiment was made using Smitty's ABCs.
I distressed all the edges, and distressed those gorgeous little butterflies, to make them pop.

I'd like to enter the very first card into this week's Lawnscaping Challenge:

{Love} this challenge!!!

Toodles!
