A 'Baby Steps' set

Hello everyone,

Sorry for yet another absence. My excuse is that life is incredibly busy!

I do want to properly apologise for not keeping on top of my site, though; my circumstances mean that other things take precedence, and the site gets put onto the backburner for a while!

Plus, for a little while there, I sort of lost my mojo!

Anyway, I've been crafting away today, as I've been ill this week, and it's helped the creative juices, I must admit.

I've made a little set of 4 cards that incorporate the same stamp set from Paper Smooches: 'Boob Tubes'. I've had this set for AGES, and have been completely stumped as to how to use it! So I thought I'd take baby-steps, and do some mini-cards with a lot of white space.I used Lawn Fawn's very versatile 'Just My Type/ Just My Type Too' sets, for the sentiments. Here's how they turned out:

I've been admiring the cute hand-drawn borders for months now, and have never been brave enough to try one myself! But I decided to take the plunge and I'm really pleased with how they all turned out!

I added some co-ordinating dots to finish the card, and I think they make all the difference.

Well, that's it from me for now.

Until next time, then!

  1. Absolutely love this set of cards! I must try a hand-drawn border, it gives the design a nice whimsical feel :)

  2. THese are great Tasha! I totally missed seeing them!
So what's up with your copic sale? I can't believe you had so many! DO you like pencils better?

  3. Hey babaes!!! Missed ya yesterday. I love these wee cards. You're an inspiration. Luv ya, A.M.x

  4. These are excellent Natasha - I wasn't sure about how to use this set but you've really showcased each stamp beautifully... and you hand drawn lines are perfection! Jo x

Thank you so much for leaving a comment! I love reading them; they are so encouraging and inspiring. Thank you again! x
