Little Foxes

Hey guys,

Let me introduce the card for today:

I couldn't quite get the colours right when taking this photo, so below is the card with the colours sort of muted a bit:

It does look better in real life!

Anyway, I really enjoyed making this card! The polka-dot pattern was created using the Hero Arts stamp, white embossing, and some 'Tumbled Glass' and 'Vintage Photo' distress inks. The image panel was coloured using Copics, scrunched on the sides for texture, and then heavily distressed. I wanted it to look like an old, crumpled-up photograph.

Then I heat-embossed and inked the sentiment strip to match the paper.

Don't you just love the cute stamp?
It's another of the 'Gorjuss-ettes': Little Foxes. I have to admit, I had trouble finding the right 'fox' shade. We have foxes running right outside our window all the time (yes, even here in London!), and I'm always looking at the rich colour of their fur.
Can't seem to commit it correctly to paper, though...!

Anyway, that's it from me for today - 'see' you all soon :)
