Little Green Bicycle

Hey peeps :)

Hope you've woken up to a nice Monday!

I visited the Hero Arts blog yesterday, and when I saw this post, which includes a colour-inspiration scheme by Kristina Werner, I just had to have a go.

Here's what I came up with:

It's a different sort of style for me, and I'm not going to lie to you; it took ages  to come up with this! I've seen the scalloped-layer style on a few cards recently, and thought I'd have a go.

The bike was stamped onto white cardstock and coloured with copics. I added the buttons, a sentiment, and distressed the panel using Tattered Rose distress ink and the Ranger distressing tool (the blade kind).
I stamped various backgrounds onto kraft cardstock, and used a scallop punch on it. I distressed the strips using Vintage Photo distress ink.

I added the twine and a couple of pearls, and that was that!

I like it - it's totally different to the sort of cards I usually make, and I like it for that :)

Hope you like it too!

See you next time!
